Greetings all. my wife is looking into purchasing a mini cooper s. I am ignorant when it comes to this car but I drive a suv and belong to a suv specific forum where I have learn alot. So I am hoping you mini cooper s experts can shed some light or offer some advice as to what we should be looking for. We have our eyes on a 2009 cooper s with 29800kms on it.

My thanks in advance for any input or suggestions.

Break Dust

I washed my JCW yesterday, of course it rained overnight so now I have to wash him again, and noticed that the break dust was particularly hard to get off. I was wondering if any of you used something that did the job right the first time?

"Once you have completed a Car Control Course, we are ready to take you to the next level. A new challenge awaits. Our Road Skills courses represent the ultimate in improving your driving skills and mastery and understanding of your vehicle while driving. Skills that translate directly to daily driving and improve your ability to be a safer driver.

This next level of training takes you to a closed road course, the course curriculum is designed for true driving enthusiasts, covering every aspect of driving excellence. Elements specifically developed for this course include specific exercises dealing with ideal-line cornering, safe lane changes, and other skills that relate to your safety whether driving the freeway or scenic mountain roads.

A full day of 'dancing with cones' and of Skills practicing and challenge fun for BMW Car Club of BC members and other car enthusiasts who have previously taken a Car Control session. This is basically a full day of skills practice on a slalom course with Driving Unlimited instructors on hand to cover important basic safety skills and provide feedback and coaching.

It's a TSD-style event with 500kms of great driving roads in the Okanagan, all Tarmac. No special equipment on the car necessary, and even the Navigator is optional. Entry fee is $110.

Meet: - 8:30 a.m. in parking lot at ABC Country Restaurant, East Hastings West of Sperling, Burnaby
(Club Meeting location) - ABC Country Restaurant opens 7 a.m. if you want coffee

First Car Out: - 9:00 a.m.

Theme: - 'Think Green'

Bring: - $20 per car - ALL FUNDS GO to Heart & Stroke

NOTE: - Driver's Licences will be sealed in an envelope and must be unopened at the Finish to score
