EVENT: Vancouver Mini Club Pat O'Brien Rallye to benefit Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. (gross proceeds)

DATE: Sunday, March 21, 2010

TIME: Drivers' Meeting – 9:40 AM; 1st Mini/MINI out at 10 AM

MEET: Mission Springs parking lot, Oliver and Lougheed Hwy. Mission B.C.

ENTRY: $20 per vehicle (Brand X vehicles welcome too)

Organized by the Vancouver Mini Club, the Pat O'Brien Rallye will pass through a significant portion of the Fraser Valley and will feature exquisite scenery, interesting off main track roads and the revival of some twists to challenge the entrants.  All roads are sealed and are open to public traffic.  There are no time/speed sections and vehicle speeds are not to exceed the posted speeds.  One well marked detour is included.

Driver and Navigator teams are recommended (good to have someone to blame), and bring a clipboard and pencils. There will be opportunities for "rest stops" and everyone should finish by 1:30 PM (based on estimated last vehicle out). Brunch/lunch for awards  - must finish by time to qualify for awards, which will be announced at the Drivers' Meeting.  Please let Rallye Master Rick Higgs know if you plan to attend by e-mailing him your names and vehicle type(Classic Mini, MINI, Brand X) to prepare awards and print rallye instructions.

I'm wishing I could attend, but I'm off to work this Sunday. Looks like this could be a fun little ride!

Cheers
